The First Two Rescues is the opening preview of Gregory Kinnon’s memoir-in-progress — a deeply personal story about childhood, foster care, faith, family, and the grandmother who refused to let him disappear into the system.
Born in Syracuse, New York, to young parents, Gregory spent his earliest years caught between family decisions, foster care, and uncertainty. But one woman, his grandmother Adelle, fought to bring him home.
These first two chapters tell the beginning of that story: the first rescue through courtrooms and custody, and the second rescue years later when Adelle crossed the country to bring him back again.
